  • Selin was absolutely fantastic! At the beginning I was feeling pretty pessimistic about my chances of ridding myself of my quite severe BDD. But from the start, Selin had a firm and concrete plan, and throughout the entire experience, she made sure I was comfortable, never wanting to push too hard. Everything she did was in service of the treatment and honestly once we got half way through I couldn't ignore the positive impact it had made on my daily life. I always trusted Selin and her ability to literally change my outlook going forward, but to actually now be living it...it's something that I literally can't thank Selin enough for.   • "All email and phone interactions were clear and to the point and in language I could understand. It is an easy way to get on the meetings online. I completely adapted and adjusted to how Selin worked and how we were going to work together in my full experience.   • I had undergone a course of therapy with a private counsellor before coming here which, if anything, may have aggravated my mental health further. I then got diagnosed with OCD by a private doctor and subsequently used my university to get a therapist. Not only has Selin been able to get me to a stable place, she has reversed the negative effects of my past therapy, and frankly made discussing topics that, for me at least, are so distressing I could barely voice them in my first few sessions. My obsessional worries somewhat shifted over the course of the therapy but Selin adapted with no problem.   • For the first time I was able to label how I was feeling/reacting as OCD, from this I’ve been able to make great strides to treat this and my health anxiety. Though I do still feel concerned about managing depression and wider feelings of anxiety, I have been given some tools to deal but I’m unsure if I could’ve valued from more of a mixed session focus to look at these aspects too. However, Selin was amazing throughout and I feel having a therapist closer to my age really did make a difference in being able to relate and use contemporary examples to better understand scenarios.
